Our philosophy and goal

Creative Explorers Early Learning Center provides quality care for your child by providing a safe and fun environment that facilitates learning through creativity, experimentation and imaginative play. Our center offers a safe, secure and convenient location for busy parents. We are committed to providing well rounded experiences that benefit all areas of development and allow children to ask why and take risks, preparing them for a happy healthy future.

Creative Explorers staff understand that play is the work of children and is the natural way in which they learn.  Our curriculum is approved by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and follows a structured play-based approach instead of an academic approach. We introduce many fun and creative activities through our monthly themed curriculum. Through a predictable routine, the children grow in all areas of development.

Our younger group (The Littles - 2yrs –  4 yrs) enjoys each activity for the process alone and dives into our many group experiences. Once in our Preschool group (The Bigs - 4yrs – Entry into Kindergarten), the children are introduced to pre-kindergarten skills without compromising the importance of play. Our children are having so much fun they don't even realize that they are learning a new concept and skill that will help aid them with future success for years to come.

We believe that each experience a child is exposed to is a learning experience. Children learn through hands-on experiences and in their involvement in age-appropriate activities. When a child is allowed to play freely, it aids in growth and provides an imaginary world that children can master. 

Playing provides a basis for building self-esteem; to a young child, everything is new and exciting.  The wisdom of play is grand. Come Explore With Us!
